Hello Buckingham Community,

We are off to a great start at Buckingham Elementary! The staff and students are settling in nicely and getting back into the routines of school. I am pleased to welcome Tamara Barajas-Biro to our team at Buckingham, she is our Cycle 1.1, Cycle 2.2/3.1 & Cycle 3.2 FSL teacher. Additionally, she will be providing resource support to our Cycle 1.2 classroom with Mr. Mitchell. I would also like to take this opportunity to introduce Monika Stoeger who is currently teaching our Kindergarten, Cycle 1.2, Cycle 2.1/2.2 and Cycle 3.1/3.2 FSL classes. As of this time, Mme. Noelle-La is off on leave. We are thrilled to have Mme. Monika on board and working in our school. One of our main focuses this year is BUCKINGHAM PRIDE! We will be focusing on the Tribes Philosophy this year and will be providing our students the opportunity to build community within our school. We will be holding monthly spirit days to focus on how great Buckingham Elementary is! We will continue to take part in many of the WQSB tournaments throughout the year, as this gives us the opportunity to highlight our BES pride. I am thrilled to be back at Buckingham myself and look forward to a successful 2016—2017 school year. Go Bisons!
